This website was created by an AmeriCorps volunteer and ESOL teacher to share a professional development curriculum that I designed with anyone who may find it helpful. 

​A Cord of Three Strands is an adaptable in-house TESOL training curriculum. It provides an overall framework and ideas for integrating an experiential learning model of professional development into a new or already established ESOL program for adult learners. I am basically refracting some of what I learned during the SIT TESOL Certificate program to meet the professional development needs of the Adult Education program at Boston HERC, where I served as an AmeriCorps volunteer.
